I recently went for consecutive two treatments over the span of two weeks at Beauti Instinct. You probably have heard of them before or have seen them here before because I used to head there for treatments but stopped after a while due to a packed schedule when I was working full-time. Now that I'm working on Klarra which enables me to arrange my time better, I'm back there to continue my treatments after a hiatus.
I blogged about my usual facial place previously but the treatments at Beauti Instinct are of a different type from my facial place. The latter is more for maintenance eg. cleansing, whereas for Beauti Instinct, they focus more on chemical treatments that are specifically done to tackle certain skin issues such as Acne etc.
In fact, I personally think that for one to see a faster and effective result, it usually involves chemical/machines. Of course, for those who want instantaneous results, we all know it involves non-invasive aesthetic treatments like Botox, fillers injections. But not all of us are open to the latter (the injections), so I guess the next best would be the chemical/machines. Did chemical/laser treatments for a few times till date and I don't think they are that harmful as what some would say. I suppose the key is not to over do it and also, i would suggest for you guys to go to a reputable place with experienced beauticians to perform the treatments. :)
Beauti Instinct has been around for a while. The first time I went was probably about 2 to 3 years back, and the last I went was last year. Been there for quite a few times and I've been trying out different treatments accordingly to the condition of my skin on that very day. Treatments lasted about 2 -3 hours in average, and this time I had treatments done to:
- Rejuvenate and whiten the skin (especially my dark eye circles)
- Moisturizing my absolutely dry tough skin (before more fine lines pop up)
And the treatments I did were:
EYE RESURFACING TREATMENT
SOFT LASER PHOTO THERAPY SKIN REJUVENATION
RETINOL Q10 PEARL TREATMENT
More on the treatments below! ;)
FIRST TREATMENT

The newly renovated place.

Cozy facial rooms.

Had a skin checkup done by the beautician to analyze, explain the condition of my skin so as to determine the suitable treatment for the day. I always have a problem with dull, dry skin, and this was how the skin looked after they cleansed. Not sure if you can see it, but the skin was really dull, tough and dry. I can't do without moisturizer and eye cream most of the the time because of my dry skin and I tend to have more fine lines and blocked pores if I don't apply them.

Did the Soft Laser Photo Theraphy Skin Rejuvenation to brighten up my skin. It was a mild laser treatment that wasn't painful at all, felt like warm and bright touches on the face.

Next up was the Eye Resurfacing Treatment. It involved a Mini Needle Roller, which was rolled around your eyes to ensure that the products applied will be effectively absorbed into the skin. This was quite painful in my opinion, but always a believer of no pain no gain! Heh. In my opinion, this worked and I could feel that both the eye areas were more supple and moisturized.

Glad to have my skin all cleansed and treated! You can see from the pores under the eye areas.

Ended with an oxygen mask.

A final shot.

SECOND TREATMENT (ONE WEEK LATER)

I went for another round of Soft Laser Photo Therapy Skin Rejuvenation to further brighten up the skin.

Treatment was completed with an extremely soothing whitening clay mask.

A cleaner face will always make applying makeup easier and a made-up face better. ;)
