Recall the previous dove entry that I have posted sometime back?

Hehe, since good stuff is meant to be shared,
I decided to bring along the Dove chocolate bars as snacks for our movie date.
And guess who are the special people who got in touch with Dove chocolates too?

On a side note, I actually heard that a bit of chocolates intake everyday is not a bad thing after all,
and having chocolate each day is not bad as long as we practice the concept of moderate eating in our daily diet.

It is said that melting chocolates in one’s mouth produced an increased in brain activity and heart rate
that is more intense than that associated with passionate kissing.

Weee, this is my second favourite.
Am a sweet tooth but I like it not too overly sweet.

Some random happenings for the past two weeks!

The bobs went down to Butter Factory to support our dear Yalin for her Seventeen Queens of Queens pageant.
She did awesome and her short crop hair totally rocks socks.

If you realised, i permed my hair!

It was done at my usual trusty place, SALON VIM,
and of course by my usual trusty stylist, John.
Love the curls though i wished that it could be bigger waves,
but my hair is too brittle and dry to do and achieve those.

Lene's birthday is on boxing day (26th Dec) and we all got her an advanced birthday pressie which was hair perming.
Brought her to Salon Vim to look for John to do it,
and GOSH, I UBER LOVE HER CURLS! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
You have to see it yourself and I'll be back in another entry to show you her curls!

Sinful supper at Newton aftermath.

The venue they held the queens of queens was extremely small or rather,
the crowd targeted was absolutely a high figure in comparison to the space.
Didn't know an event at butter factory on a Thursday night = club closure after event.
Everyone was kinda puzzled and I could see, a tad pissed by the whole thing as it seemed like the only right thing after the event would be to stay on in the club i suppose.

ZOUKOUT
Our first Zoukout together, but I thought it was good but probably i was tired and had a flight to catch at 6am,
so i was pretty spaced out by the time it reached 3 to 4am.

The whole lot of us went crazy but it was fun being together with the usual bobs,
able to let loose yet knowing we have one another to look after in the jam-packed place.

CALVIN'S 25th
Calvin decided to live in denial,
and held a maccy's birthday to celebrate his 2+5 (= "7") birthday.

i can't exactly recall when was the last time I have been to one,
or maybe not even once, but well, it was great fun there!
Except for the fact that it would have been much better if the place was air-conditioned,
the rest was pretty cool and great work for the staff to carry out the childhood games. Heh

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

Bet you guys must be busy shopping for Christmas gifts because town is absolutely crowded!

Spent a good whole day out at town for a pampering manicure session,
and did some shopping along the way before ending the day with Rapunzel Movie.

A bit on what's up for my Christmas this year,
and it would be a gathering with the usual bobs at Jarrold's place and I can't wait!
I'm looking forward with feasting with meat and wine specially prepared by a group of us,
and I'm proud of the Menu I did on behalf of the team. Teehee

Are you feeling hungry? Heh :p

Muahaha, the crowns are looking good.
I personally tried the homemade lamb dish prepared by Kenghow last Christmas,
and boy, it was absolutely delicious, comparable to restaurant's standard in my opinion.
And being a big fan of Caesar Salad, i shall give myself credits for preparing that then!

I was looking through pictures of last year to do some reminiscing,

As mentioned in an earlier post, I had a superb MBS night stay with the bobs.
Our theme was RETRO NERDS and I am absolutely amazed by the spontaneousness of everyone,
and this is the beauty of themed parties.

Food was extremely expensive at MBS, with only restaurants located around.
So apart from the usual pizzahut, sarpinos pizzas, we decided to give Timbre delivery a try since we all know that they have yummy pizzas!
Prices are reasonable and comparable to pizzahut.
 

The buffalo wings was a must-have too.

Didn't think that that was possible till i consulted (the company that did my whole new website),

One more day and i am back to Sunny Singapore.

This lil spiderman nephew is the total highlight of the trip.

His funny pronunciation of "chieah chieah" for jie jie,
and "hor-lee-dae" for holiday definitely cracks me up.

And so, before my trip,
i went to Pink Parlour to try out their newly launched metalic nails!

Some facts about the NEW! Metallic Nails at PP.
1. New from USA
2. Similar to nails extensions without the side effects of brittle and soft nails
3. They are pasted on professionally and lasts for a week (or more if you take good care of them)
4. Taking off require soak off just like acrylics
5. Takes about 30 mins to do and costs $68/set

I tried it myself and I love them!
It takes a tad longer than 30 minutes, but definitely less than an hour.
Here am i with my pretty nails typing away,
and I like that fact that they filed it the length that I wanted,
so it will not disrupt or hinder myself doing work in any way.

Weeeeee!
I actually have the honour to try two sets within two weeks! heh
Love these two colours, the black and light gold zebra prints,
and the matte and shiny gold ones too.

Probably the least drawback is the duration for the nails to last,
but personally, it has been a week and my nails are still intact!
(Given the fact that I am not the gentle sort)
Only for that one nail that has the prints chipped off a bit,
but the rest are still purfeccctttt!
But no worries for that, If you find that the prints are chipped off,
you can easily paint a new coat of other nail polish colour before deciding to soak them off!

Im leaving Chiangmai but going to catch a flight to Bangkok to stay over for a night before heading back to Sunny Singapore.

Travelled out of Chiangmai,
and here's one of the better places we stayed over a day ago!

If you have been a reader,
you would know that I detest the dry skin, fine lines, and acne breakouts/scars on the face.

You would also be aware that I have introduced facial products from different brands previously.
in which they are useful and essential for our daily needs.

You would also know that I have been emphasizing that good skin is vital,
and definitely helps a lot when applying make-up to ensure smooth and flawless skin.
Not only that, but with great skin, make-up stays even longer and you look absolutely radiant than before.

Here's a peeka after a treatment that i underwent.
Only Sunblock, No foundation, make-up on the eye area/eyebrow, and blusher.

I apply foundation mostly during shoot sets only cause I feel that I have oily T-zone,
which makes the foundation kinda irky as the day goes on.
Sunblock is real important and it suffice as a base in my opinion.

My girlfriends and I always discuss on how expensive to be a girl,
we have to groom ourselves constantly, go for manicure/pedicure,
buy facial products with for instance, 7 steps (7 items), hair dye/perm, go for facial etc.

Therefore, my point is,
I bet the above mentioned is kinda needed and sought after my many girls,
and its a constant thing.

So I believe it applies to the same as many girls,
things like manicure/pedicure, haircut and especially FACIAL, TREATMENTS (yes, its the face we are talking about)
if not we wouldn't spend so much on facial products, make up and facial etc.

We might try out a few here and there,
but ultimately, we hope to find one that truly understands our each individual skin,
and make all our moolahs worth while,
and see the effectiveness and result at the end of the day isn't it?

So a week or two back,
I had an amazing experience with

that leaves scars and marks on the face. Blah.

I hate to see that skin being so haggard and tired the first thing in the morning,
